California Earthquake Clearinghouse Stakeholder’s Meeting

February 20, 2013, 10 am - 2 pm

Cal EMA Offices
3650 Schriever Ave., Mather, CA 95655 (Map)

The Clearinghouse is a location where, after a damaging earthquake, engineers, geologists, seismologists, sociologists, economists, and other professionals who arrive in the affected area to investigate such things as ground failure, structural damage, social or financial impacts of devastation, or simply to lend a hand can become part of a larger, temporary organization (the Clearinghouse) to facilitate the gathering of information, maximize its availability, and better use the talents of those present. A full agenda will be provided in the next few weeks, however, the meeting will include information about the upcoming May 2013 Golden Guardian exercise planned for the Bay Area, as well as an update of our efforts to implement the Unified Incident Command & Decision Support (UICDS) data sharing middleware in support of a virtual Clearinghouse.
