SCEC Earthquake Simulators Workshop

SCEC researchers will gather for a one-day workshop to discuss progress on comparisons of Earthquake Simulators and future plans. The workshop will take place in Oxnard, California at the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach, all day June 9th.

The workshop is intended to allow participants of the First Earthquake Simulators Workshop to compare their results on the two problems that were outlined then, to define additional problems to be used for comparing the results of the various simulators, and to discuss other future efforts in which those interested in simulators might engage. The format will not involve formal presentations except for a summary of the results on the two previously defined problems. Most of the workshop time will be devoted to discussion.
