SCEC Internship Application

For SURE and USEIT internships, complete the application below. Priority consideration deadline is Monday, Feb 23, 2015. Applications will continue to be accepted until all positions are filled. Please note that the USEIT internship program will not be offered in 2015. The program will resume in 2016.

Please note that SURE and USEIT internships require the applicant to be either a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident. Additionally, you must be an undergraduate during the entire year of 2015 in order to be eligible for the SCEC internship programs. Please refer to Internship Eligibility and Requirements for further information.

In sections that require free-form responses, please take the time to proofread your work, as numerous spelling and grammatical errors may adversely affect the standing of your application.

Be aware that "special" text characters and/or pasting text from a Microsoft Word document may cause a submission failure of this application, returning error code 958. We are working on a solution to this issue. In the meantime, if this happens to you, replace (with standard alphanumeric text or punctuation) or remove those characters, or paste from a different text editor, and resubmit the application.

In order to be considered for a SCEC internship, you must be able to verify all of the information provided within this application. For example, a transcript may be requested to verify GPA, major, coursework, or other details stated in your application. Please carefully read through the certification section of this application before proceeding. Thank you!
