Joint Participation and Cooperation Agreements	1992-1998: OES Representative on SCEC Advisory Council 1997-Present: OES/SCEC Cooperative agreement for Post-Earthquake Technical Clearinghouse participation and exchange of information and data (ad hoc working group for development of strategic plan for response to damaging earthquakes in California (travel; plan development; table top exercise involvement; commitment to serve as information liaison in aftermath of damaging earthquakes).
Meetings and Field Trips: Workshops Shortcourses Seminars Technical Training Field Trips	1992: A SCEC/USGS shortcourse for media reporters, ""Earthquakes 101,"" was sponsored by FEMA and OES. 1995: Joint Workshop and Media Event on Release of Phase II Report, with OES. Attendance: 200 1995: SCEC Education director C. Abdouch conducted a three-day ""Seismic Sleuths"" workshop for 20 participants including middle and high school teachers, science education specialists from three museums, American Red Cross educators, education staff from State Office of Emergency Services and the LA Conservation Corps. 1997: OES provided funds to support ""Making the Most of New Real Time Information Technologies in Managing Earthquake Emergencies,"" a one-day workshop to acquaint emergency managers with new technologies, facilitate communication of policy choices and decisions, and obtain feedback. 1996-Present: SCEC CEO Staff has attended 13 workshops (and will continue quarterly or half-yearly workshop attendance) as participants in the multi-partner Post-Earthquake Technical Clearinghouse.
