Meetings and Field Trips: Workshops Shortcourses Seminars Technical Training Field Trips	1995: First Insurance Industry Workshop, SCEC Knowledge Transfer, established dialogue among scientists, insurance industry leaders, risk modelers, and public officials. April 1996: Rate of Earthquakes in So. Calif. and Insurance 101. Convenors: SCEC Outreach. Location: Pasadena. Attendance: 75 scientists and 150 insurers 2000-2001: Earthquakes and Insurance Workshop Series planned in concert with WSSPC: objective is to provide a forum for insurance industry representatives, earth scientists, engineers, and policy officials to discuss key issues of earthquake insurance.
