	SCEC 2001 Annual Meeting

The first day of the SCEC Annual meeting was focused on the last year's activities. A full crowd during a general session.   Bob Smith presents the perspective of the SCEC Advisory Council.   Jack Moehle, Director of the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER), shares the possibilities of interaction between PEER and SCEC in the future.   Mark Benthien, Associate Director for Outreach, presents the accomplishments of the SCEC Communication, Education and Outreach program over the last year.   Dave Bowman makes a point during his presentation on "The Evolution of Regional Seismicity Between Large Earthquakes"
