October 14-15, 2003, Workshop SCEC and EarthScope: A Workshop to Explore the Interaction Dates: 14th and 15th October 2003 (Tuesday and Wednesday) Location: USC Conveners: Tom Henyey, USC; Tom Jordan, USC The principal objectives of the workshop are as follows:
Each of the SCEC focus and disciplinary groups will address one or more of the foregoing bullets. It is anticipated that EarthScope science will be carried out on a regional basis, and thus, in very general terms, the purpose of the October 14-15 workshop is to explore SCEC's role (as a regional consortium) in coordinating EarthScope activities in southern California. Registration is available below. The hotel for this workshop is the Embassy Suites Hotel Los Angeles International Airport North, 9801 Airport Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045. Rooms are $119 per night.
