	WSSPC Annual Conference: Seismic Risk Communication

From the Western States Seismic Policy Council (WSSPC): Summer is almost over, and the deadline to register for the WSSPC Annual Conference at the reduced early-bird rate is coming up, too. Fax or postmark your registration by August 31 (this Friday) and save $25. This year's conference, "Seismic Risk Communication: Creating Greater Public Awareness and Action" will be held in Sacramento, California, October 21-24, and will feature a variety of plenary and workshop sessions, an exhibitor fair, and a field trip to the Napa Valley. You must register by this Friday, August 31 to get in on the early-bird registration rate - after that the registration fee goes up to $375.
