New Study Shows Odds High for Big California Quakes What: News conference discussing results of the first-ever statewide, comprehensive model of earthquake rupture in California. When: Monday, April 14, 2008, 10:00 a.m., PDT Who: Earthquake experts from the U.S. Geological Survey, the California Geological Survey, and the Southern California Earthquake Center (see bios).
Where: The press conference will take place in two locations simultaneously. An overview presentation will be webcast from Los Angeles to Menlo Park, and scientists will be available for questions and interviews at each location.
