Join us for the upcoming SCEC Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, October 16, 2025 (2:00-3:00 pm Pacific Time).

As we begin a new chapter in SCEC's transition under incoming Director Ahmed Elbanna, this town hall will provide important updates on the 2026 SCEC collaboration planning process, including:

- The First Proposal Call, focused on sustaining core research capabilities and community infrastructure.
- Opportunities to propose Workshops and form new Technical Activity Groups (TAGs).
- Guidance on submitting Letters of Intent for TAGs and aligning with SCEC’s evolving research priorities.
This is a key opportunity for researchers across disciplines—seismology, geodesy, earthquake engineering, computational science, and beyond—to help shape the next phase of SCEC’s collaborative framework.
