This 8-week immersive program is based at the University of Southern California (USC) and offers students a unique opportunity to conduct hands-on research alongside leading earthquake scientists from a network of over 90 institutions. We are looking for motivated students from all STEM disciplines—no prior research experience is required.
|
- Hands-on Research: Contribute to projects that advance our understanding of earthquake science.
- Professional Development: Participate in career talks, skill-building workshops, and networking.
- Scientific Presentation: Gain experience presenting your findings in a professional setting.
- Compensation: Receive a $700 weekly stipend.
- Who: Undergraduate students nationwide, all class levels and STEM majors.
- Priority Deadline: February 14, 2026.
- Location: SCEC Headquarters at USC (Los Angeles, CA).
