2025 CIG The Next Generation - Registration Now OPEN

Registration is now open for the community-wide meeting 2025 CIG—The Next Generation. Come join the geodynamics community in Breckenridge, Colorado, from August 4-7, 2025, to discuss cross-cutting science and the next generation vision towards understanding large- and small-scale Earth systems.

The meeting begins Monday, August 4, with introductory workshops on community codes. Select from workshops on ASPECT, PyLith, Rayleigh, SPECFEM, SPECFEM++ and/or Crafting Quality Research Software when registering.

Join us Tuesday-Thursday for plenary sessions, posters, breakouts, and discussions on a broad spectrum of topics in computational geodynamics - Computational Geodynamics and Society, Space, the Machine, Community, Scales and Hardware. We welcome your submission to these topics as well as topics in the study of the dynamo, Earth’s interior, education, lithospheric dynamics, melts, fluids and multiphysics; research software, computational methods, seismic cycles, seismology, short-term crustal dynamics, and other related topics.
