Each year, SCEC recruits research projects, workshops, and trainings from the broader community to contribute to the Center’s programs. Established within the Science Steering branch of SCEC, The Proposal Review Committee (PRC) is responsible for evaluating proposals submitted to SCEC and recommending the portfolio of research proposals, trainings, and workshops to fund to the Center leadership to act on. A total of 24-30 reviewers are recruited to represent the 12 disciplinary and interdisciplinary focus areas of SCEC research.
