Exciting news! We're transitioning to the Statewide California Earthquake Center. Our new website is under construction, but we'll continue using this website for SCEC business in the meantime. We're also archiving the Southern Center site to preserve its rich history. A new and improved platform is coming soon!

SCEC2021 Meeting Registration

Log in to SCEC to register for the annual meeting, submit an abstract, or edit your registration until the deadline of August 16, 2021 (5:00pm PT). This is a hard deadline—the number of "seats" on the online platform are locked in at the close of registration.

SESSION REGISTRATION

The 2021 SCEC Annual Meeting will be held as an online meeting, September 12-17, 2021. All presenters and attendees will participate remotely. See the meeting program at: https://www.scec.org/meetings/2021/am.

There is no registration fee for participants registering online by the deadline. Before the meeting, meeting registrants will receive log-in instructions for the online sessions for which they have registered.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

SCEC2021 participants are invited to share recent results and activities relevant to SCEC priorities and initiatives during the poster sessions. To submit a poster abstract for consideration, go to: https://www.scec.org/meetings/2021/am/abstracts. The abstract submission deadline is August 16, 2021 (5:00pm PT). This is a hard deadline since we need to lock in the number of "posterboards" in the online gallery.

The person submitting the abstract is automatically the First Author, and will receive all communications regarding the poster abstract. A First Author may submit a maximum of one poster presentation for consideration. Invited plenary speakers should submit an abstract for an oral presentation.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES
Registrants may revise or cancel their meeting registration and/or abstract submission online until August 16, 2021. Log in to SCEC to update your registration information. After that date, please email scecmeet@usc.edu with your changed plans and/or cancellations.

AFTER AUGUST 16, 2021
We cannot offer late registration (or late abstract submission) for SCEC2021. The final number of "seats" in the meeting and "boards" in the poster gallery will be purchased and locked for security purposes. After August 16th, we will accept requests via an email to scecmeet@usc.edu to be placed on a waitlist in the case of cancellations.

The Southern California Earthquake Center is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants. We take pride in fostering a diverse and inclusive SCEC community, and therefore expect all participants to abide by the SCEC Activities Code of Conduct.
