Exciting news! We're transitioning to the Statewide California Earthquake Center. Our new website is under construction, but we'll continue using this website for SCEC business in the meantime. We're also archiving the Southern Center site to preserve its rich history. A new and improved platform is coming soon!

-------------- Forwarded message from Wendy Shindle, USGS --------------

Hi!

The USGS Earthquake Hazards Program needs your help. We need
volunteers to man GPS stations along the San Andreas and San Jacinto
Faults during the weeks of May 16-23 and May 23-27. Please read the
following fact sheet and contact me if you have any questions or are
interested in volunteering.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in geology and
geophysics to get some real-world field experience. I hope to talk to
you soon!
