NASA ESTO Lidar Community Forum

NASA/ESTO has recently formed a technology working group in the area of lidar technologies. It is the working group's charter to develop detailed technology requirements and implementation plans for enabling NASA's Earth science goals. The implementation plan and technology roadmaps will be used to guide ESTO's investment strategy for future technology developments.

The working group invites the community to submit input electronically for consideration by the working group, or to present ideas at the lidar technology community forum on January 10, 2006.

The community forum is focused primarily in the area of lidar technology requirements as well as information technology and spacecraft technology requirements related to lidar. Forum participation is open to U.S. industry, academia, federally funded research and development centers, and U.S. government organizations.
