Gordon Research Conference on ROCK DEFORMATION

The full program for the 2008 Gordon Research Conference is now available on the website (see below). The theme for the conference is “Real-time Rheology"; sessions will be held on Earthquakes and the Rheology of the Lithosphere, Rheological Properties of Faults during Earthquakes, Deformation and Rheology of the Lower Continental Crust, Deformation of Ice Sheets and Glaciers, Linking Mantle Anisotropy and Rheology, Seismic Attenuation and Rheology of the Upper Mantle and Future Directions in Applied Research linking Rheology and Reactive Porous Flow.
