Postdoctoral Position in Structural Geology/Rock Mechanics at Stanford University

Candidates should have research experience in structural geology, solid earth geophysics, or rock mechanics involving the application of continuum and fracture mechanics using numerical modeling methods to rock deformation. Research projects include field and laboratory investigation of hydraulic and magmatic fracturing, and the propagation of mixed-mode fractures in rock.
