Exciting news! We're transitioning to the Statewide California Earthquake Center. Our new website is under construction, but we'll continue using this website for SCEC business in the meantime. We're also archiving the Southern Center site to preserve its rich history. A new and improved platform is coming soon!

Real time GPS displacement waveform archive at SCEDC

Date: 07/11/2012

Dear SCEC community,

We would like to announce the archival of real time GPS displacement waveforms at the Southern California Earthquake Data Center (SCEDC - http://www.data.scec.org/ ).

The 1 sps displacement waveforms are produced by the California Real Time Network (CRTN - http://sopac.ucsd.edu/projects/realtime/ ). They are archived at regular intervals and converted into miniseed format by SCEDC. Users can retrieve these waveforms through a special client called AISTstp in miniseed or sac formats.

This project was funded by the NASA Advanced Information System Technologies program.

The SCEDC is funded by SCEC and the USGS.

Regards,
Rob Clayton and Ellen Yu
