2. Postdoc, Geoazur Laboratory (University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France)

I would like to draw your attention to the following postdoc position open in the framework of an ongoing postseismic intervention following the recent Mw 7.8, 16 April 2016 Pedernales earthquake in Ecuador.

A postdoctoral research position in seismology, supported by IRD (http://en.ird.fr/ird.fr), is available at Geoazur Laboratory, University Nice Sophia Antipolis, France, starting in September 2016. The position is a full-time, 1-year appointment, with the possibility of a second year. The successful applicant will participate to the processing and interpretation of the seismological data recorded by a network of more than 50 onshore and ocean bottom seismometers deployed over the rupture zone of the16 April 2016 Pedernales earthquake. The expected gross salary is in the range €25800-€30000 depending on experience.

The starting date for the position might be slightly flexible, more preferably between August 1 and November 1, 2016. Applicants should submit a resume, a statement of research interests and experience, and the names of three references, via email to
