4 Open Positions at the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory

There are currently four open position at the UC Berkeley Seismological Laboratory (BSL).  Full position descriptions and instructions for applications are available here:

In Short:

1. Project Scientist: Will work on the ShakeAlert project contributing to the seismic and geodetic algorithms.  Will be responsible for ensuring data QC and algorithm performance. PhD preferred.

2. Field Manager: As the BSL expands its geophysical networks the Field Manager will oversee the installation of new seismic and geodetic stations.

3. Project Manager: Will provide support for a wide range of ShakeAlert activities at the BSL including managing the coordination of the effort both internally and with external partners.

4. Field Engineer: Supports the installation, operation and maintenance of the BSL geophysical networks deployed across northern California.
