About Me Publications
Ekaterina is a PhD Candidate in Geophysics at MIT, Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science Department.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Technical Physics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia in 2014 and her Master's degree in Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Russia in 2016.
Her internship experience is: Shell Experimental Imaging Team intern (Houston 2020), ExxonMobil Induced Seismicity Team intern (Houston 2018), Shell intern (Bangalore, India 2017), Schlumberger field engineer-trainee (Buzuluk, Russia 2015) and Gazpromneft intern (St. Petersburg, Russia 2015).
Ekaterina's current research interests include rock mechanics and fault mechanics applied to induced seismicity.
