About Me Publications
Amy is a summer intern for the Southern California Earthquake Center’s SOURCES program. She is a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Berkeley, and plans to graduate in Spring 2021 with a degree in Geophysics. Amy has one year of research experience on a project examining the effects of earthquake shaking on microstructural properties of sand. She has extensive experience using Python as well as image analysis techniques & software.

Amy plans on attending graduate school and pursuing a career doing scientific research. Her research interests are broad; she enjoys using data and computing to learn more about the earth. She is especially interested in studying early Earth processes, planetary evolution, and plate tectonics. She is looking forward to learning more about inverse theory, machine learning, and other data analysis methods in graduate school.
