Exciting news! We're transitioning to the Statewide California Earthquake Center. Our new website is under construction, but we'll continue using this website for SCEC business in the meantime. We're also archiving the Southern Center site to preserve its rich history. A new and improved platform is coming soon!

About Me Publications
I am a Data Science Initiative Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer Science at Harvard University and an incoming assistant professor at Brown University. My work has focused on machine learning for pattern recognition and discovery in large, complex sensor data sets, with recent applications to earthquake detection. My research interest is in scientific machine learning, including knowledge-guided and interpretable learning for the physical sciences.

I received my Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University and my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University. I previously worked as a data scientist at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.
