Publications
Morgan is a current computer science student at Santa Monica College and a SCEC SOURCES 2022 Intern. Her current research focuses on seismological modeling of sedimentary basins. Morgan is heading into her third year at Santa Monica College and has plans to transfer in 2023 to complete her bachelor's degree in Computer Science. She is very interested in pursuing graduate program opportunities. While at Santa Monica College her accomplishments and societies include: NASA MINDS Program, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Science Research Initiative Program, Scholars Honors Program, and President & Founder of the Santa Monica College Computer Science Club.
She is incredibly passionate in both geoscience and technology and is seeking future research and internship opportunities within these fields. Morgan would love to meet other like-minded individuals that she can learn from.
Morgan is happily married and her husband works as an electrical engineer. They live in the Los Angeles area with three beautiful cats. Whenever she finds time outside of her studies, she loves playing softball, riding bikes and traveling.
