Structural geologist, investigating crustal deformation by integrating field observation, geophysics, & geomechanics. My current interests are in 1) strain accommodation during early-stage continental extension [Natural Lab.: East African & Rio Grande Rifts], and 2) the structural styles and reactivation mechanics of basement-rooted faults associated with natural & induced seismicity [Natural Lab.: Central & Eastern U.S., Western & Southern Africa].
