SCEC Solicits Proposals for Earthquake Research

Date: 11/07/2023

Dear Potential Investigators,

The Statewide California Earthquake Center (SCEC) is pleased to solicit proposals for earthquake research that align with our 2024 Science Plan. We welcome all proposals that can contribute to SCEC's science goals in general, along with related community engagement and workforce development activities.

SCEC is a research center that brings together experts from different fields to develop new and innovative ways to study and understand earthquake hazards and their effects. We are particularly interested in proposals that take advantage of our geographic scope, which now includes the entire transform plate boundary between the Pacific and North American Plates from western Nevada to the Borderlands offshore, and from Baja California to Cape Mendocino.

To submit a proposal, please visit www.scec.org/scienceplan. The deadline for proposals is December 8, 2023 at 5:00 pm Pacific Time.

We look forward to receiving your proposals!

Sincerely,

The SCEC Collaboration Planning Committee
