The Computational Infrastructure for Geodynamics (CIG) has a job opening for an Assistant Project Scientist. The Project Scientist is part of the CIG Headquarters team and is responsible for leading community efforts in utilizing software best practices in development of educational modules, computational modeling workflows and application of HPC in computational geodynamics for the CIG Community.

SAVE THE DATE: AGeS Virtual Community Symposium

Please join us for an open community symposium on Advancing Geochronology Science, Spaces, and Systems.

Virtual Community Symposium
Tuesday May 7, 2024

It will comprise two sessions with invited talks and presentations from AGeS projects. 

  • Session 1: Geochronology Community activities
  • Session 2: Geochronology advances

Short breakout sessions will enable discussion and feedback on Community Needs, as well as interaction between AGeS-Grad awardees and future program applicants. Community needs may be addressed by the new 2024 AGeS-TRaCE opportunity for which additional details will be provided at the symposium (https://www.colorado.edu/program/agesgeochronology/ages-trace)

Detailed agenda will follow.

All are invited to attend. The symposium is intended to strengthen the geochronology community and its networks and will provide opportunities for senior scientists, early career scientists, and graduate students to engage and interact.
