The 2026 SCEC Annual Meeting will be held at the Hilton Palm Springs from August 30 - September 2. The program features plenary sessions with invited talks, moderated discussions, and the very popular Distinguished Lecture on Sunday afternoon.

Please note the following deadlines:

- No abstracts will be accepted after TUESDAY, August 4, 2026 (5:00 pm Pacific Time).
- See here to submit an abstract for inclusion in the SCEC2026 program. There is no fee to submit a poster abstract but space is limited so only one abstract will be accepted per first author.
- Early-bird registration ends TUESDAY, August 4, 2026 (5:00 pm Pacific Time).
- Participants may register after August 4, but the registration fee will increase to $525 and late registrants will not be included in the printed program. See here for instructions to register. Registration is a two-part process and is not official until you have completed the payment portion.

- SCEC offers Research Travel Awards to support students and early-career researchers presenting earthquake research at professional conferences. The deadline for applications has been extended to August 3, 2026 at 5pm Pacific. See more details and apply here.
