The SCEC/USGS Ground Motion Simulation Validation and Utilization (GM-SVU) Workshop will be held on July 13, 2026, in conjunction with the 13th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering (13NCEE) in Portland, Oregon.

We invite your input to help inform the workshop discussions and future SCEC GM-SVU activities. Whether or not you are able to attend the workshop, we encourage you to complete our brief community survey and share your perspectives on the validation and utilization of earthquake ground motion simulations.
|
The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete, and the technical discussion questions may be answered selectively based on your expertise and interests.
|
We welcome input from the broader earthquake science and engineering community, including ground motion modelers, research and practicing engineers, hazard and risk analysts, geoscientists, software developers, infrastructure specialists, emergency managers, and building code and standards professionals.
