The Berkeley Seismological Laboratory (BSL) seeks applicants for a full-time post-doctoral research seismologist position, available now, until filled. Ph.D. in Geophysics/Seismology required. We are seeking a scientist with research interests in earthquake source-scaling as well as source studies related to underground nuclear explosion monitoring. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working within one or more of the following areas: earthquake source-scaling, local and regional monitoring, seismic discrimination, coda wave studies. The position will involve working closely with the PI and roughly 25% time will be available for independent research.

Annual salary of $43,500. This position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension for a second year depending on progress and the availability of funding.
