CALL FOR PAPERS: PAGEOPH Volume on "Properties and Processes of Crustal Fault Zones"

Forwarded call for papers from Yehuda Ben-Zion, USC:

SCEC scientists with significant observational and theoretical results on "Properties and Processes of Crustal Fault Zones" are invited to submit papers to a special issue of Pure and Applied Geophysics (Editors: Ben-Zion and Rovelli). Subtopics include fault zone seismology, geodesy, geology, mechanics, seismic ground motion, and correlations between different quantities and fields.

The papers should focus primarily on state-of-the-art results that were obtained in the last 1-3 years, but can include review/background material. There are no page limits or page charges for the papers, so long and detailed papers are welcome.

The timeline of the special volume is as follows:

Submission deadline: August 15, 2013
End of review process: March, 2014
Early online publication: When each paper is ready
Final publication of the volume: August, 2014
