Researcher / Seismologist (Induced Seismicity) at ETH Zurich

Dear Colleagues,

The Swiss Seismological Service at ETH Zurich is opening a researcher position (3 years + possible  extension) to be filled ASAP.

The successful candidate will develop real-time detection and analysis methods for high-rate injection induced seismic sequences and help develop the prototype of an "Adaptive Traffic Light System" for hydraulic stimulation operations in the geothermal (EGS) context.

The prototype will be implemented in an upcoming EGS project of our industry partner GeoEnergy Suisse AG in Switzerland and other projects in the framework of the EU Horizon 2020 project DESTRESS (Demonstration of soft stimulation treatments of geothermal reservoirs).
