USGS NSHMP Geophysicist Job Announcement

The NSHMP is currently looking for a GS 09/11 Geophysicist and thought this might be of interest to subscribers of this group. If you know of good candidates, please encourage them to apply, and spread the word! The announcement closes February 3.
 
The U.S. Geological Survey’s National Seismic Hazard Model Project (NSHMP), the team that develops and produces seismic hazard maps for the conterminous U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. territories, is looking to hire a GS-9/11 Geophysicist. This job is well suited for a recent college graduate with a bachelor’s or higher degree in geophysics or another directly related field of study (see job announcement for additional qualifications). Job duties include (1) working as part of a team to produce the USGS NSHMs, (2) generation of figures for presentations and reports, (3) assisting the NSHM Project Lead with project management tasks, and (4) planning and organizing NSHM Project and Steering Committee meetings, public workshops, and other Project-related meetings.
