Exciting news! We're transitioning to the Statewide California Earthquake Center. Our new website is under construction, but we'll continue using this website for SCEC business in the meantime. We're also archiving the Southern Center site to preserve its rich history. A new and improved platform is coming soon!

About Me Publications
Cameron Fetter is a second-year undergraduate student in geosciences at California Lutheran University. His focus is on content creation and education via several social media platforms to spread earthquake awareness and general information to the public. Cameron is set to complete his undergraduate studies by Spring 2025 and intends to continue his education in geology in the following years.

In addition to his SOURCES internship with SCEC, Cameron has been utilizing the social media platform Tik Tok to teach earthquake science since April 2021. Using the various features the app has to offer, he has been able to spread information to his viewers through live streams, skits, and 2-3 minute long videos. Cameron's page has amassed more than 330,000 followers and he intends to keep creating content as he works with SCEC and expands his knowledge of the field.

In his spare time, Cameron enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, coming up with ideas for content, traveling to interesting geologic sites, and hanging out with his friends.
