Exciting news! We're transitioning to the Statewide California Earthquake Center. Our new website is under construction, but we'll continue using this website for SCEC business in the meantime. We're also archiving the Southern Center site to preserve its rich history. A new and improved platform is coming soon!

About Me Publications
I am a 24-year-old Los Angeles native who is transferring from Pasadena City College to University of Colorado Boulder as a Geology major. My current interests lie in GIS and geological mapping, but in graduate school and beyond I would I also lie to delve into volcanology and planetary research. I am passionate about being active in the academic and natural world; I want to do field work that I can translate into useful information for the general public and for the scientific community. I have previously done mineralogical and paleontological research for the PCC Geology Department and the NHMLA Dinosaur Institute; I am excited to see how much I will learn and grow with SCEC UseIT. My interest in the earth sciences can be attributed to my love for the outdoors and my experiences with the Sally Ride Science Club as a child. Outside of studying, I enjoy playing sports (badminton and swimming), camping, playing piano, and cooking.
