Exciting news! We're transitioning to the Statewide California Earthquake Center. Our new website is under construction, but we'll continue using this website for SCEC business in the meantime. We're also archiving the Southern Center site to preserve its rich history. A new and improved platform is coming soon!

About Me Publications
At present, I'm the appointed researcher in the COLOSSEO research project (ERC-Horizon 2020-Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions-Global Fellowship-GA N° 795396) which aims to investigate possible evidence of active compressional deformation in southern Italy. Previously, I have mostly carried out research activity on the following Italian topics:

- seismotectonic framework of recent seismic sequences in Italy: Norcia 2016-2017, L’Aquila 2009 (Central Italy), Ferrara 2012 (Northern Italy);
- 3D model building of seismogenic sources;
- geological-structural investigation aimed to the 3D reconstruction of the carbonate reservoir prone to geothermal resource exploitation in central Italy;
- active tectonics and kinematic analysis of normal faults in central-southern Italy;
- active stress field and deformation in central-southern Apennines;
- seismotectonic setting of the Sicily and South Tyrrhenian domain.

EDUCATION:
- 2009/03/09 – PhD in Environment and Territory at University of Molise - Di.S.T.A.T., Pesche (Isernia), Italy - Supervisors: Prof. G. Pappone and Prof. P. Boncio. Dissertation title: “Geological-structural setting of the northern Matese and kinematic analysis of the Quaternary deformation along the Bojano normal fault system (Molise-Central Italy)”;
- 2005/07/12 – Master Degree (Summa cum Laude) in Geological Sciences at the University “G. d’Annunzio”- Chieti, Italy - Supervisor: Prof. G. Lavecchia. Dissertation title: “Kinematic analysis and seismotectonic zonation of Sicily (Southern Italy)”.
