About Me Publications
Kiki Paroissien-Arce is a Physics undergraduate student from University of Oregon. Her focus in digital electronics, Fourier analysis and digital signal processing. She is pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Physics with a minor in math. For her SCEC SOURCES 2021 internship, Kiki is working with the Earthquake Hazards Group at UO, where she works with synthetic rupture models to help evaluate turbidite event history in the Cascadia subduction zone.

In addition to her focus in STEM, Kiki is a professional songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in a Eugene-based band called Laundry. In the future, she plans to find an intersection between her Physics and music backgrounds by working in the guitar pedal manufacturing industry. She has experience with multiple programming languages, Arduinos, and digital and/or analog electronic projects.

In her spare time, Kiki likes to make digital illustrations, write songs, play guitar, play with her two pet rats and clone guitar pedals.
