About Me Publications
Monica Barbery is a Ph.D. candidate in geophysics at Texas A&M University. Monica’s current research focuses on flash heating and weakening in granite. She uses a high-speed biaxial apparatus equipped with a high-speed IR camera to conduct friction experiments in combination with thermal modelling and microstructural analysis.
